When you call to book your senior portrait session, I’ll probably ask you a lot of questions—where do you go to school? Where do you like to hang out? What do you do for fun? Do you do any extra-curricular activities? The answers to these questions will help me guide you in planning your portrait session. After “What should I wear?” and "Do you have a make-up artist?" the most common question is “Where should we go?” Most of my seniors like to do what I call the Walkabout session. We pick a location and then walk from place to place taking portraits as we go. We find lots of cool spots to take pictures that way! There are lots of great places around Roanoke, VA but It’s really up to you. If you want to choose more than one location, that’s fine, too. Feel free to bring a friend or a sibling—it’s always nice to having someone come along to make you giggle and to help schlep your gear. I’m all about fun—we’ll keep things relaxed and laid back.
